“After Montreal, Canada in 2017, the Debian Project’s annual conference (DebConf) heads to Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Taking place from 29 July to 5 August, it’ll be the first DebConf to be held in Asia.
Debian was established in August 1993 by then-student Ian Murdock, and is one of the oldest and most influential GNU/Linux distributions. Available in 70 spoken languages, the community-driven, fully Open Source distribution currently boasts over 2,000 Debian Developers and contributors combined, and close to one million reported bugs.
Whether you’re a developer, contributor or simply interested in learning more about the Debian Project, this year’s edition of DebConf promises to be jam-packed with a bounty of talks, discussion sessions, BoFs, workshops and more.
Talks are going to be recorded and live streamed, and will be made…
