At the rate that technology is progressing, it is easy to imagine that cars in the future will be autonomous. Drivers will become passengers, who will then be able to work or relax while the vehicle does all the driving.
The BMW Group, however, remains steadfast in its philosophy and commitment to intensifying Sheer Driving Pleasure, and the Vision Next 100 concept car is a testament to this.
In the Vision Next 100 concept, the conventional instrument panels and displays no longer exist. Instead, they are incorporated into the front windscreen, which now functions as a giant display for the driver.
The interior itself will be built using mostly recycled or renewable materials. This is in line with BMW’s leading position as the world’s most sustainable carmaker.
