There’s nothing more meaningful to me than the people I love, and this sketch is a perfect representation of that. My mom, Shelley [Hershlag], drew it about a year ago when my son was 7 and my daughter was 2. She is a trained artist, so she draws the kids often, but out of the hundreds of sketches she has done, I think this one captures their personalities and close relationship the best.
