As we mentioned earlier, the Toshiba Chromebook 2 continues its predecessor’s fine pedigree of including a full 1080p display, with a IPS panel that provides bright and vibrant colours. Toshiba also went with a less reflective finish on the screen with this refreshed unit. The screen still catches a few rays of light, but it’s a vast improvement.
Meanwhile, the 14-inch, 1,920x1,080 screen of the HP 14 is bright, crisp and evenly backlit, with appealing colour saturation and contrast. Photos and text appear sharp and crisp on-screen, and its viewing angle is generally good.
