It’s all over now
Rock and film cars star at Historics Historics final sale of 2017, held at Mercedes World, included a selection of cars with loose – or not so loose – rock star and film connections.
We’ll start with the real thing, a Mercedes-Benz 250 S bought new by Rolling Stones bass man Bill Wyman, then bought back by him in 1991 as a wreck, which he had restored. Wyman finally sold it again in 2015, when it made £20,700 at a Bonhams auction. The car has since covered just 3000 miles so we reckon whoever paid £16,800 for it at Historics got a good deal.
