What’s the best thing about the hobby? There are as many answers as there are owners. But recently, I have been drawn towards one aspect of what we do, the thing that bonds us – our camaraderie. The love we have for our older cars, the passion we enjoy, levels us all. It goes way further than the tin. Prince or pauper, restorer or explorer, black or white, Christian, Muslim, Atheist… it matters not a jot. When it comes to our cars there’s unity and togetherness and a shared identity. We are car people and it is instinctive and automatic. It needs no explanation.
