Well, you’d expect there to be plenty of Citroën action, wouldn’t you? For starters, both new and classic Citroëns came together for the brilliant Chevrons Rally near Milton Keynes. If it was built by Citroën, it was welcome.
Meanwhile, I needed to pick up parts for the CX to put in my shed, which I did so in my ever-practical Fiat Panda. Which is usefully also shaped like a shed and is also now with a new owner after being sold at the Beaulieu ‘jumble.’
The Stamford Classic Car rally was wet but wonderful. One particularly stunning 1967 Jaguar 420G stood out to me. Always loved this Jag – it looks like it’s moving when it isn’t and it is absolutely huuuuge!
