Our preserved railways are all struggling right now, thanks to reduced footfall and rising running costs. As a classic car enthusiast, the chances are that you love all kinds of engineering, so why not support a heritage railway this year? Many of them run classic car weekends, and one of our favourites is the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR), which runs between Pickering and Whitby, taking in Goathland, where TV show Hearbeat was set.
