From the Editor & Publisher February is a special month for us at the American Library Association and Booklist. It’s Black History Month, and, as we do for all ages in all issues of Booklist and Booklist Reader, we highlight Black authors and diverse reads in print and audio in various genres and for all communities. February is also a month to celebrate love. With all this in mind, our focus here is on Historical Fiction and Romance. This issue is also special because it’s the first printed issue of Booklist Reader. Booklist Reader is primarily a digital publication, but we will print select issues.
