“WHO was looking after his ailing mother when he was on vacation?”
This was a question posed by uMlazi Court magistrate Z Ngcobo before denying Ramith Aneerudh bail last week.
Aneerudh, 38, of Newlands West, is accused of attempting to kill his wife, Sarika Bridgmohan.
He and his co-accused Deon Tyler Naidu, 46, of Umzinto, and Kyle Goldstone, 37, of Ifafa Beach, were arrested for allegedly kidnapping, robbing and attempting to kill Bridgmohan earlier this year. They were charged for conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping, attempted murder, and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
Aneerudh and Goldstone were nabbed in Coffee Bay, Eastern Cape, on April 16.
