OSH Park, along with Screaming Circuits, produced this beautifully purple and functional electronic conference badge for the 2018 Open Hardware Summit. The board, designed by Alex Camilo, is based on a concept from ESP trINKet by Mike Rankin, and features an ESP32 microcontroller with built-in WiFi, and ePaper display.
An interesting feature is its ability to update the display via your phone, tablet, or laptop. That makes it a lot easier and fun. I would assume it also promotes more changes and interactivity throughout the conference.
