If there’s one thread running through the words of those we’ve spoken to about the gender pay gap, it’s this: imagine telling the kids. Say you’ve got a son and daughter, or niece and nephew. They undoubtedly have big plans for their future (even if, like my boy, it’s to be a YouTube star). Now imagine telling the girls that no matter how clever they are, how hard they work, how much they contribute, they’ll be paid less than the boys. And you justify that by… You simply can’t, can you?
