Hands up how many of you over-40s consider yourselves middle-aged? I bet that doesn’t really sound like you. I just turned 40; I don’t think it describes me. My siblings are in their 50s and they definitely don’t show any signs of slowing down or being sensible. Middle-aged is a term that is fast ceasing to be useful.
I know women in their 60s and 70s with the energy levels of sugared-up preschoolers. So we need a new term, more in tune with our forward-thinking, adventurous, fun-loving selves. One that I love is Generation Ageless.
