DACIA will continue its roll-out of hybrid powertrains through 2025 and beyond, with CEO Denis Le Vot confirming the technology will be “growing more and more in the future” – including the possibility of a plug-in (PHEV) powertrain for the company’s flagship Bigster SUV. AS well as hinting at a Bigster PHEV (left), Dacia CEO Denis Le Vot has suggested the current Sandero supermini could soon be offered with the hybrid powertrain from the seven-seat Jogger. But the Japanese firm has chosen it to reintroduce the hallowed Nismo name to Europe. IT’S tricky to stand out in a class filled with so many competitive alternatives, but the Cupra Born has managed to find a smart little niche for itself.
