PAPPARDELLE CHICKEN & CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE

1 pound pappardelle or other flat thin pasta2 tablespoons olive oil1 clove garlic, crushed1 small yellow onion, chopped finely½ pound Swiss brown mushrooms, sliced thinly¾ cup heavy whipping cream2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary2 tablespoons butter3 cups shredded cooked chicken½ cup coarsely chopped toasted walnuts¼ cup coarsely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley¾ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
