Speech-language pathologist, Christina Hunger, helps children with difficulty speaking, listening, understanding language, and more. In 2019, Christina decided to teach her Catahoula/Blue Heeler puppy, Stella, to communicate using a soundboard. Christina pressed a button that said ‘outside’ as she said the word or opened the door. After a few weeks, Stella stepped on the button when she wanted to go out. Now, Stella knows over 29 words. Christina believes Stella’s voice matters, which we love!
