The HAMMERHEAD shark is known for its distinctive hammer-shaped head, called a cephalofoil, which provides a panoramic view with eyes on either side. Typically found in warm coastal waters and continental shelves worldwide, hammerheads are solitary hunters preying on fish, squid, octopus and crustaceans.
GREAT WHITE sharks, with their conical snouts and powerful bodies, are among the largest predatory sharks, often inhabiting coastal waters near seal and sea lion colonies. They are apex predators, feeding on various marine animals including fish, seals and smaller sharks, showcasing their iconic breaching behaviour while hunting.
