Sparklingly diverse, panoramic fourth album from cult Glaswegians.
In a fair and just world, Baby Chaos’ superb second album, 1996’s Love Your Self Abuse, would have made the young Glasgow band superstars. Emerging in the midst of Britpop as it did, however, the album got lost in the shuffle, and a re-brand as Deckard did nothing to boost a waning profile. The group’s return, in 2013, was a welcome surprise, with 2015’s Skulls, Skulls, Skulls, Show Me The Glory a potent reminder of frontman Chris Gordon’s songwriting gifts.
