METALLICA WILL release S&M2, a document of their September 6 and 8, 2019 concerts with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, on August 28.
The shows, which saw the group reunited with their hometown orchestra for the first time since a brace of April 1999 gigs were taped for the award-winning S&M album, will be available in myriad formats, from a digital album, to 4LP vinyl, 2CD, DVD and Blu-ray versions, to a Super Deluxe Box, limited to 500 copies, each including guitar picks, a 28-page book of Anton Corbijn photographs, plus sheet music used by the orchestra during the shows, hand-signed by the four members of Metallica.
