Last month, Microsoft announced that it was acquiring the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, the publisher behind iconic gaming franchises such as Doom, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Quake, Wolfenstein, Dishonored, Prey, and more, for $7.5 billion.
