Batman was one of my favorite superheroes when I was growing up. With multiple die cast brands producing licensed vehicles from our favorite movies and TV shows, it’s easy to see why enthusiasts are clamoring for these scaled down big screen replicas. It can be said that die-cast collectors are always looking for details. No matter the scale, we love seeing the smallest of details and refinements in any given model. It seems counter intuitive, but for some reason it seems as if in many cases, the smaller a model is, the more detail is put into it and the larger it is, the less detail it carries. Of course this isn’t always the case, but it seems to be true in a broad sense. How many times have you seen an incredibly accurate 1/64-scale car but a lazily casted and detailed 1/18-scale version of the same vehicle?
