THE World Car of the Year 2023 shortlist has been announced, with the Alfa Romeo Tonale, BMW 2 Series Coupé (right) and X1/iX1, Honda HR-V/ZR-V, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Kia Niro, Mazda CX-60, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Nissan Ariya and Z all up for the award.
Auto Express editor-in-chief Steve Fowler is on the WCOTY judging panel and will cast his vote for the 2023 title, as well as winners in the Electric, Luxury, Performance, Urban and Design categories.
The winners will be announced at the New York International Auto Show in the US on Wednesday 5 April, and will be presented with trophies that have been created with input from British car designer Ian Callum.…
