VOLKSWAGEN is introducing a new Black Edition trim to its line-up. The spec is available to order now on the newly facelifted VW Golf hatchback, as well as the Polo supermini, T-Roc SUV and Taigo.
Black Edition sits above sporty R-Line spec in VW’s range, and costs £500 or £1,000 extra, depending on model. As the name suggests, it adds black styling elements for the roof, roof rails (where fitted), alloy wheels, side mirrors and other exterior trim, plus tinted rear windows. The wheels on Black Edition cars are larger than standard, too; the Polo gets 17-inch rims, while the others get 18s.
