The Hunnie-Man and I don’t plan to take a vacation this summer, but there are plenty of projects and fun activities to fill our evenings and weekends.
After having surgery last month (and enjoying some extra, guilt-free stitching time), I’m back on my feet and keeping busy. My kitchen has been filled with the aromas of canning produce – peach jam, several kinds of salsa, bread and butter pickles, and corn relish. My favourite part of canning is the prep – slicing and dicing all those wonderful fruits and veggies. I don’t even mind dicing onions! That reminds me that I want to stitch something canning-related for the kitchen.
