Oil systems pioneer Aviaid, the company credited with introducing dry sump technology to motorsports, has long thrived on providing innovative lubrication solutions for a wide range of applications. The Chatsworth, California firm's most recent endeavor was creating a compact dry sump system for the latest generations (3-4-5) of the Viper V-10 engine. The new Viper package is centered on a 7-stage Series 1 pump that features five oil pan scavenging sections, one pressure section, and one section for scavenging a turbocharger. It can be configured with as many or few sections as desired, while a fuel pump can be driven off the back of the pump.
