I know as a Canadian I should be able to equally embrace all four seasons we have the luxury of experiencing here; however, I fully admit I am a summer person—walking barefoot in the grass, swimming in the lake, buying fresh produce at the farmers’ market, spending time in my garden. Heck, I even like mowing the grass! That said, being the positive person I try to be, and to avoid alienating all of you winter people, I will focus on the parts of winter that I do find pleasure in, starting with cuddling up under a blanket with my French Bulldog, Starlord, while reading a book in front of our woodburning fireplace.
