When Kirsty Stone, the designer behind jewelry brand Retrouvaí, first laid eyes on the artwork of Diana Greenberg, it was love at first sight. “I immediately thought, ‘I need that in my house,’” she says. Stone and her husband, Michael, who co-owns Retrouvaí, were eating breakfast at the South Congress Hotel in Austin, Texas, when they spotted Greenberg’s paintings. Before they had even finished their meal, Stone reached out to the artist. “I emailed Diana, and she sent her gallery information. But then she wrote again, ‘Oh my god, I love your jewelry.
