Pembrokeshire, in South Wales, is a place of stunning landscapes, remarkable coastlines and simply amazing views. There’s so much to see in this ideal touring destination.
It took us six hours to reach Windmill Hill Caravan Park, in Pembroke, so their friendly greeting and generous pitch were most welcome after the long drive.
After a quick set-up, we went to get some groceries and take a look around Pembroke. This charming little town has a castle, a medieval parish church, and a gorgeous delicatessen, full of speciality foods, artisan cheeses and tasty fresh produce.

Next morning, we went to Pembroke Castle to see a 15th-century living history group re-enacting displays of medieval warfare.
There was a little encampment, with colourful tents, and ‘medieval’ folk cooking on open fires…
