TEST CARS, TESTED
They lead a hard life – one that’s much harder than what car testers like myself go through. After all, we only need to worry about our driving, writings, thinkings and, perhaps, typing speed, too.
Test cars have a lot more to fear. Siong road tests. Mysterious scratches. Terrible fender benders. Painful parking prangs. Big acidic droppings from big and small birds alike. Alloy wheels’ close encounters of the kerb kind.
The most feared are accidental crash tests conducted by incidental crash test dummies who can drive, write, think and type.
But test cars will find it all worthwhile as long as the reviews they garner are somewhere between positive, neutral and negative. Thanks, test cars.…
