If your engine doesn’t have hardened valve seats, now’s an ideal time to fit them.

Overhauling your cylinderhead is relatively straightforward, but you might be lifting the lid on more work if you find – for example – the bores are worn or the waterways are corroded. Be prepared for the job to escalate.
