HEALTH OWNERS' SMOKING IS HARMFUL TO CATS, DATA REVEALS
Two in five British smokers have seen their cat fall ill as a result of their second-hand smoke, according to new data by MIST, one of the UK’s first vape companies.
The survey of 1,000 smokers was conducted to investigate how many British pets are being harmed by second-hand smoke and whether owners are aware of the dangers, finding one-in-five smoking cat owners are completely unaware of how smoking can harm their cat.
Tobacco smoke is highly damaging to cats and when exposed, pets are more at risk of certain types of cancer including lung, nose, and mouth cancers.
